Our philosophy
There are so many reasons why we started Poppet & Floof. It started with a lack of biscuits for very young puppies. And a belief that dog treats should only consist of the best ingredients. We worked really hard on our recipes, consulted industry experts and engaged with several potential suppliers of our ingredients to make sure our vision for organic, vegan dog biscuits with a purpose could work not just for our Lottie Poppet, but for all the Floofs, Bellas and Teddys up and down the country.
Our philosophy is based on four key pillars which underpin all our decision making:
Ingredients with a purpose
Key for us is what goes into our treats. This starts at identifying ingredients that have a positive effect on the dogs and ends with labelling.
Responsibly sourced
We care deeply about the environment and are very conscious about where our ingredients come from and how we package & ship the biscuits.
Puppy is King
We want to know from our customers (human and canine) what is important to them, what works, what tastes nice etc and let this research guide our product development.
Baked by us - in our home
All our biscuits, treats and chews are baked in our own kitchen. That way, we have full control over the manufacturing process while keeping the costs low.
